MOM:
Emily had insisted on being a part of getting her daughter back and while it wasn’t the right call no one could stop her from doing so. She had gotten lucky enough to be the one looking in the basement of an old abandon warehouse because that is the place that she saw a human in a ball shape when she came down the steps and when she saw the hair color, her heart stopped as she prayed that it was her daughter and that she was alive. Rushing toward the chained teen without a moment to catch her breath and think about what she needed to do next. She was reckless and dangerous during the hours without her daughter and that clearly wasn’t about to change.❝Juliet?❞
Juliet heard the approaching footsteps. Each step made
the petite girl tense with each heavy sound. The sound
in the room echoed loudly. CLOSER. they approached.
it was not until her name was spoken the young girl
properly looked up to see who it was who spoke. She
knew of course her mothers own voice, but it could have
all been in her head. Slowly, WEAKLY Juliet looked up
never once in her life had she gone from being so scared
to a sense of calm. Her voice was weak and soft, Her arms
and body shaking from the cold.
“Mom? Mommy?”
