UNCLE DEREK:
Derek couldn’t help but snort at the girl’s words. No doubt
in the world that this is Emily’s kid. “I’m gonna use that quote,”
he decided, pushing himself off the car to open the door to the
passenger side so Juliet could get in. Once that was taken
care of, he rounded the vehicle to climb in on his own side and
get it started. “Honestly? I think you’re pretty much the only person
she might actually listen to. Which is impressive, if you think about
it.”
“You know I try. Sometimes she is to stubborn.
The most hard headed person I know.”
The younger girl spoke now a laugh coming from her
parted lips. She was still worried about her mother,
she would always be. Yet if Emily was causing a scene
for just wanting to go home, Juliet was sure she was
truly fine. Juliet was still curious of what had happened
to the point where her mother would end up in the hospital.
those answers she could get lately.
“That is true, not sure how that works though.
I mean sometimes my dad can’t even get threw
to her, yet I can. It’s weird.”
