“Mall it is then.” Vienna smiled, excited for the trip out. “No, she actually hates it —- she’d much rather be drawing or riding her bike.” She chuckled, thinking about how she hadn’t actually gone to the mall with her daughter for quite some time. After all, the brunette usually went either by herself or with a few work friends, which was perfectly okay with her.
“Sephora will do our makeup?” She asked, interested in the idea. “I usually get my makeup at MAC, but that sounds like fun. How much does it cost?” Vi asked, knowing that stores like that could charge quite a bit ( that wouldn’t stop her from getting it done though ).
“ Yeah, they will do it for you. It’s really awesome. I mean I always tend to by so mush when I am there. Why wouldn’t they not do my make-up. ‘
Juliet said with a slight laugh, her hands reaching out for her jacket. The weather was finally becoming chilly. the leaves were changing and it was now fall. Fall had always been Juliet’s favorite season. She loves the smells, the crisp air, the apple festivals. It was a nice change from the hot, thick summer air. She was so ready.
“ Well it’s good she likes going outside. Most kids are all about staying indoors and playing video games. “
She thought for a second, not sure what to pick. On one hand, it was easy to stay in and watch a movie or two; just turn on Netflix and wait for her parents got home, a good way to rest after a long day. Although, on the other hand, going to the mall sounded like so much more fun and the two would be able to get to know each other. “Is the mall okay then? I’ll get you some stuff, as long as it’s not too expensive.” Vienna finished with a small smile, trying to bribe the younger girl with the idea of new clothes or whatever it was Juliet had wanted.
“The mall is always a safe bet. You have a daughter right? Does she too love the mall?”
Juliet spoke with a small smile. Her hands now falling to the side of her body. Wondering is maybe she should change before they head to the mall. Not that she really cared, but she did enjoy looking nice.
“We should go get our make-up done at Sephora. That’s my current favorite store. Have you been?”
“Okay Jules, I’m with you for the day today.” Vienna stated just as both of girl’s parents left. Emily and Aaron had been complaining that they didn’t get enough ‘adult time’ together, so Vienna agreed to do babysit Juliet as long as they would take care of Fionna in exchange. “What do you say —- we can have some girl time; go to the mall, get mani pedis, or stay in and watch some movies. What do you say? It’s your choice.” She smiled, leaning against the kitchen counter.
Juliet gave Vienna a soft smile. Though she did not know the woman to well, Juliet knew she was able to trust her. As her parents would never leave their daughter with someone they themselves did not trust. It was just an adjustment to be spending the time with Vienna. The girls night was a tempting bid to get the younger Hotchner to open up. Juliet was shy towards those she did not know. She had always been that way. So her quiet state was not uncommon.
“I do not mind any of those choices. I mean they are all fun things to do.”
